anytime! - Warsaw, IN

I call this session an "anytime!" session because I want you to know that you don't have to be engaged, a senior in high school, or a family of four to get your photo taken! I'll take your photo, anywhere, anytime! :) Caleb & Courtney called us because they wanted some photos taken of their condo in Warsaw, IN. They've lived here for three years and as Courtney said, are just now putting the finishing touches on their home! (I can totally relate to that...we've been in our house for six months and it's a total disaster!) They wanted these photos so they could remember their first home together :) P.S. They built this entire condo from scratch! Genius!

Courtney has SUCH an eye for interior design. I LOVE all her little details! :)

The Fulton Family

family - Greenwood, IN

Andy and I were lucky enough to be able to shoot on THE LAST nice day of fall! It was 50 degrees and sunny and lovely! Unlike NOW! :) We met the Fultons at Craig Park in Greenwood, IN and I absolutely fell in love with this leaf-covered hill! It made for SUCH nice photos! Having a ridiculously gorgeous family to work with didn't hurt either... :)

The lighting was just absolutely PERFECT here!

Look how cute they are! I wish I had a sister! :)

Their one request....SWINGS! :) I love it!!

Then we went downtown to find some cool walls/textures. I love this garage door!

I had to stand in the ROAD at 5:00 for this one. Traffic was nuts and Andy watched for cars as I jumped in the middle of the road! But I was way digging on those stars. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I LOVE bringing Andy along. He gets awesome shots like this one! :)

The Kipper Family

Everyone, meet the Kipper family. They all attended Rachael & Brett's wedding back in June. Lynn, fourth from the right here, is Rachael's cousin. She called and asked about doing some photos on their family farm in North Vernon, and I was stoked to travel outside of Indy! We had some pretty horrible weather for this shoot too, but we shot quickly and then did some photos inside :)

The barn! Doesn't this kind of look like a painting?

For the entire shoot, Lynn's son, Owen, was watching a barn kitty instead of looking at the camera. So finally, his grandpa ran over, scooped up the cat, and handed it to him. Then we had no problem making him smile!

I love this one with his little hood up! :)

wedding - Indianapolis, IN

We spent Tiffany & Joel's amazing day at the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis. The air was chilly and the sky was gray and murky-looking, but T&J and their entire wedding party were incredible and were up for taking photos outside anyway! We had the bridesmaids bring their jackets and for all the shots, we'd arrange the men first, then Tiffany, and then, we'd yell, "coats off!" and add the bridesmaids with short dresses and bare shoulders in last...then shoot for two minutes and yell "COATS ON!" :) They were all SUCH troopers!

I just love the facade of this building. So majestic!

Tiffany's dress was one of the most gorgeous gowns I have EVER seen.

Tiffany wins the "most adaptable bride ever" award. Here, she's sitting on the FREEZING cold concrete while I ran up the stairs (and then I fell and ripped my pants, but don't tell anyone :) ) to get this shot from the balcony. Was it worth it? I say, YESYESYES, my pants say NO! :)

ANDY got this one! It's my favorite from the entire wedding! He's the BEST!!!

Brittany & Tony were so much fun. We shared tons of laughter together and got some really fun shots! The forecast called for rain but we were determined to shoot anyway! We were fortunate and had an amazing blue sky and fluffy clouds (and you know how I feel about that!) instead! :)

The Higley Family

Oh, the Higleys. Where do I even begin? Katie and I have known each other since first grade. We had the same teacher for several years in elementary school and stayed friends through high school. She's one of the coolest girls I know! We were both on the yearbook staff in HS, and now are doing journalistic related endeavors :) Katie is a talented writer and designer and works at a newspaper, and I... well, am horrible at writing and only do a pinch of design. BUT! :) Our yearbook experiences taught us WELL! :) On to the photos!
